Mr. George Sarran, a retired Army Officer, is Owner/Broker for Pleasant Realty, LLC. He has over 12 years experience as an agent and broker – buying, selling, financing and closing residential and commercial properties. Accomplishments: • ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) • CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) • GRI designation (Graduate of the Realtor Institute) • MBA (University of Texas at Austin) • BA (WestPoint Military Academy) Experience • U.S. Army Colonel – worked key assignments in the Pentagon, Europe, Korea and Vietnam • Property Manager – managed both commercial and residential properties to include apartments, shopping centers and strip centers • Tax Accountant – has prepared more than 300 tax returns • Realtor • Broker – Houses over 20 agents, 16 investors, involved in investment partnership that owns 40 investment properties, active member in SABOR, TREC His areas of specialization are residential, condo and commercial properties, working with investors, and representing both buyers and sellers. George is a very active member in the San Antonio Real Estate Investment Association (SAREIA) as well as the Alamo Investors Association (AIA) in his commitment to work with investors daily to meet their Real Estate investment goals. Additionally, George has long standing contacts with mortgage lenders, banks and title companies, appraisers, home inspectors, ability to set up lines of credit, and has access to hard money lenders – very important in the investment community.

 

 

Athena Rasmusson

Director of Business Operations

Athena, the current CFO and Director of Business Operations as well as the Property Manager for over 140 doors, life stays pretty busy! She is responsible for the day to day operations of Pleasant Realty which include:all billing and accounting, vendor communication and scheduling, marketing, advertising, general office, and is the primary hub for making for in and outs of Pleasant Realty. As lead for management and aquisitions under property management, Athena also handles all unit marketing, vendor communication, constant contact with owners on property status, bi-weekly and monthly reporting, assists maintenance in constructing bids and timelines for projects or make-ready, evictions, make ready, construction (in and out of town) and travels frequently.

  • A.A.S. Real Estate Management 2001
  • B.S. Criminal Justice Administration 2007 Magna Cum Laude
  • Currently working on Masters - Public Policy
  • Extensive experience in HOA management (800 units) Multi-family units (500 units) and single family management (100 units).

Interests: playing with her Boston Terrier (Mandy), movies, family, non-fiction crime drama, and of course – can’t forget travel!

 

 

 

Melody Perez (Mae)

/Make Ready/Field Operations

Melody Perez (Mae) is an integral part of the Pleasant Realty Property Management team. As lead make-ready, she is responsible for assessing and completing repairs needed to be done to make ready status. This includes: putting together bids on repairs for the owners, rehab work, making sure the units are cleaned, painted, all maintenance completed. The unit isn’t ready until her “white glove test” and believe me, that’s not easy to pass!

Experience: 30+ years experience in house cleaning, painting and rehab work.

Interests: Proud grandmother of 10 children and mother of 7. In her spare time she enjoys do-it-yourself projects, movies, reading, and finding new places to eat so she doesn’t have to cook.

Anthony Perez (Tony)

Licensed General Contractor & Field Supervisor

Tony is a key player on the Property Management team. As a licensed general contractor, he is responsible for coordinating all work orders with tenants and property owners (if needed) sets up repairs, does bids for jobs, supervises the rehab of make-readies as well as helps do the projects hands on.  He can do all the "small stuff" including minor plumbing and electrical repair all the way to the larger jobs like converting units and complete rehabilitation of homes.

Experience: 22+ yrs, U.S. Army, Transportation Specialist. 15+ years supervisor experience, professional appliance installation, make ready and rehabilitation..

Interests: Do-it-yourself projects, boating, fishing, anything outdoors, and westerns!
